Trichloroethylene is mainly used in metal degreasing and as dry cleaning agent of wool and fabrics. Solvent of resin, asphalt, coal tar, cellulose acetate, nitrocellulose, rubber and coating, etc. Used in pharmaceutical as anesthetics and in pesticide as the raw material in the synthesis of chloroacetic acid. |
